Madonna’s Huge Fashion Faux Pas

Madonna was looking great at her directorial debut of, Filth and Wisdom, at a special screening in New York last night. Then I saw her shoes. It’s kind of funny that they would have guns on them when the countries are fighting for guns to be gone. They are designed Karl Lagerfeld so they must be okay right?

I saw this at Snark Food and I had to share it…

Madge is getting slammed by a UK victims’ group for wearing the fugly shoes. Not because they’re fugly, but because of their message to vulnerable kids. Lyn Costello, from Mothers Against Murder And Aggression (MAMAA), said:

“I am horrified that Madonna can see these shoes as fashion. As a mother herself I would have thought that she would have paused for a second and thought about all the young people here and in her own country that have died because of gun crime. She should have thought about all the young people that have died because of gun crime. We need the whole of society to take responsibility and action in stopping the glamorization of weapons. Celebrities have a massive part to play and an icon like Madonna should have more sense. It’s uncaring. Surely she reads the news and realizes that young people are dying every day.”

I totally agree. In the city I live in we are constantly fearing drive-by-shootings and there has been a lot of them lately. So why egg on something that is already happening so much? So will you be going to buy your gun high heels?

Very Edgy!! I love those high heels, Madonna. She’s obviously making a statement that she comes from a Free Country, where we are not persecuted for our beliefs, for making political speeches, for symbolic speech, or for protecting ourselves with firearms.

Once again, Madonna takes no crap from Euro-sissies. Very bold. Very brave – a true American to the core.
