When presidential hopeful John McCain canceled his last David Letterman appearance, the late show comic & host was not amused and has lashed out at McCain every chance he’s gotten since then. So, when a two hour flight delay threatened his scheduled appearance last night, he hired a helicopter to get him to NYC for the show. In talking with Letterman, he admitted that he “screwed up” by not coming the first time. He also discussed the last debate. Maybe now David Letterman will lay off him a little.
