Director and actor Kevin Smith has come to a weighty realization, as he shares on his blog silentbobspeaks.com:

“I’ve porked the f**k out, man. I’m really, really fat right now. Fattest I’ve ever been. But as soon as this flick’s out [Zack and Miri Make a Porno], I’m taking my life back; gonna drop out of sight and drop a bunch of pounds. It’s the deal I’ve made with myself. Just gotta make it through the next two and half weeks of press and running around.”

Not that he’s ever been terribly thin.� The great thing is that now that he’s put it out there so publicly, it’s going to be kind of hard for him to not lose any weight – too many fans/tabloids/paparazzi will be stalking him to see if he does or not.� Good for Kevin though for realizing that he needs to get healthy.

PS:� I know I keep sounding more and more like a crazy cat lady slash grumpy old man, but I seriously wish they hadn’t gone and bought bus ads for Zack and Miri Make A Porno.� Even the bus that takes kids to and from the middle school in my neighborhood has one of those ads on the side! Way to give the middle schoolers ideas, Weinstein Company.
