Brad Pitt to Star in ‘The Odyssey’
Pitt is set to play in a feature film based on Homer’s Odyssey.
After playing to part of beautiful and courageous Achilles in 2004 hit movie “Troy”, Brad Pitt is ready to join the team behind the big-screen adaptation of Homer’s poem “The Odyssey”
According to Variety.com, which was first to broke the news, “The Odyssey”, a movie produced by Warner Bros, will have a SciFi flavor.
The movie studio intends to transfer the tale to a futuristic setting in outer space and for the moment is still unclear if Brad Pitt will portray the central hero, Odysseus.
This is a big role, hopefully the script will be solid.
