Once again, Brooke Burke stole the show last night on Dancing with the Stars- all despite a foot injury that took her to the hospital over the weekend. She and partner Derek Hough jitterbugged their way to a score of 29- two tens and one nine. Julianne Hough and her celeb Cody Linley followed up the challenge and received just one point lower with a 28- one ten and two nines. Maurice Green showed up as a real contender and jirated his hips to a good salsa that earned him a 27. Warren Sapp put in a very memorable performance of the hustle and scored fourth with the judges. His quick, lift-filled, fun performance garnered an honorable 25.

But the rest of the contestants were all pretty mediocre. Susan Lucci and Toni Braxton each scored 22, while Lance Bass and Cloris Leachman got a measly 21. Lance’s partner Lacey Schwimmer received a major tongue-lashing from the judges. They danced the west coast swing (what she is the champion of), and instead of showing off Lance and making him look better, they felt she did too much on her own and had him just dance around her… Though I love Lacey, I think it’s true. Hopefully they will be back next week so she can have another chance.
