Zac Efron is denying the rumors that he will accept $10M to appear with Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

Efron told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning: “Honestly, at this time it’s just a rumor.”

But the actor is hopeful it could happen and would jump on the opportunity if it was offered to him, adding, “I wish I was going to be in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 4,’ so hopefully that will happen for me.”

Oh, Disney.� Let it never be said that you don’t know how to keep the buzz alive, even for a movie franchise that has pretty much played itself out.
