‘Dancing with the Stars’ Men Think Cheryl & Lacey are Fat

I don’t know about you, but I find it refreshing to see some size 4 girls on TV instead of the usual stick thin anorexic types. However, the boys who are dancing with them on Dancing with the Stars think that Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer are getting fat, therefore discouraging fans. Huh?

“If you want to gain weight, it’s your perogative,” dancer Louis van Amstel said in the newest issue of TV Guide. “We all put on weight because there was no summer tour,” he adds. “But you have to deal with the consequences.”

Burke and Schwimmer have gotten slimmer since the season’s premiere, but van Amstel says the damage is done. “[People] look at this show to be inspired and think, ‘If I just work hard enough, I can look like that,’” he says. “If they watch someone who’s dancing her butt off and she’s still heavy, they can be discouraged. “You have to take responsibility,” he stated.

Another male DWTS pro, Maksim is also complaining. “When I first saw these women this season, I said, ‘Guys, you know the camera adds 10 pounds,’” he says. “‘You have to do something about this.”

Those boys need to get a life and listen up to viewers. Cheryl and Lacey are the dancers that I find most inspiring, and I’m sure thousands of other women feel the same way.

I think Cheryl and Lacey are hot. I wish people would stop saying all those stupid things about them.
