Jennifer Hudson carried out the grim task of identifying the body of her seven year old nephew Julian King today in Chicago.

As we reported this morning, the body of a young boy was found in the SUV that police had been searching for in connection with the shooting deaths of Jennifer’s mother and brother Darnell Donerson and Jason Hudson, and the disappearance of Julian King.

A spokesperson for the Chicago police confirmed that Julian had also been shot.

Any time a life is lost to violence, especially that of a child, it’s a tragedy.�� Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family.
