Brooke Battles Injury but Stays on Top of ‘Dancing with the Stars’
Despite a foot injury last week that left her in immense pain and in physical therapy, Brooke Burke somehow managed to rise to the top again on Dancing with the Stars last night. She received a score of 26 for her hot rumba with Derek Hough. Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer claimed top honors with their cute jive that showcased Lance and garnered three nines (27 for all you math whizzes). In third came Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson with a romantic rumba that would have scored much higher had he not missed a step and showed it all over his face. Even still, the big guy got a respectable 25.
The other performances were average and pretty yawn-worthy. Susan Lucci & Cody Linley got 23s, Maurice Greene a 21, and Cloris Leachman proved just how wrong Toni Braxton’s departure was. She scored a mere 15, and I think a lot of those were geriatric pity points.
