Beyonce is seeing another hit album with the rise of her lead single (from next month’s I Am… Sasha Fierce) “If I Were a Boy” climbing from its position last week #63 to #3 this week, just behind T.I.‘s “Whatever U Like” and “Life Your Life”.

The mid-tempo single (think “Irreplacable” if you haven’t heard it yet) with an empowering theme, and an even more innovative music video, is catching on quickly in mainstream, and well- there’s not a whole lot of surprise in that.
