The Top 10 Scariest Cheesy Movies Ever

I hate Halloween. But I do love horror movies…and especially cheesy horror movies. So I thought I would compile my top 10 favorite movies.

10. The Ring-This movie was crazy. Who actually believes that after watching this tape you will die seven days later. I might have been scared for about 5 minutes. It was poorly executed.

9. Ginger Snaps- I’m thinking that centering a movie around puberty and turning into a werewolf may have not been the best idea. I have to admit I was scared at the beginning, the thought of werewolves totally scare me. I really enjoyed the first one but after the second one came out I kinda got bored.

8. I Know What You Did Last Summer-This movie became almost an instant cult classic…or at least all the fans of Jennifer Love Hewitt liked it. Oh scary…a guy with a hook is after me…I better watch out. I better scream. It really did have some good looking guys in it…which was the only reason I watched it.

7. Blair Witch Project-I really couldn’t get through more than a half an hour of this movie. Why was everyone running around the woods anyways. And why are they trying to make me puke?

6. 30 Days Of Night- This movie about zombies attacking everyone in Alaska around the ‘30 Days of Night’ wasn’t bad. I thought it was a good movie. Until they were hiding in the attic of that house. Then I thought. My nightmares are like this…hiding from people wanting to get me. And then when Josh Hartnett injected himself just so he could save everyone, it made me think it was going way to far. And at the end i cried. Who cries at the end of horror movies? I wonder if Sarah Palin thinks it’s accurate?

5. IT-Now when Stephen King wrote this book I wonder if he ever thought the movie would make everyone scared of clowns? Seriously, clowns can come out of my shower drain? I can’t even take a shower because I’m so scared!

4. 28 Days Later- I don’t even know the point of this movie other than a guy wakes up 28 days later and there is no one around. I get that. You don’t have to prove that to me for the first thirty minutes of the movie. I’m not even sure I got through this one either.

For my top three…check after the jump…

3. Scream- A movie about scary movies. What an original thought. I think it was a way for people to just be dumb. Just for the record, my son is the Scream guy for Halloween. Does my son even know what it stands for…no! He just thinks it’s scary.

2. Hostel- I loved this movie. It had everything I look for in a horror movie. Naked women (well that part I don’t look for!), good looking guys, blood and more blood. I couldn’t believe how gory this movie actually got. I think every movie should be just like this one!

1. Saw- The people that thought of this franchise was smart. Saw V has just been released and was an instant hit. It pulls at me because I don’t know what I would do in almost all of those situations. And that needle scene in Saw II still creeps me out when I think of it.

So have fun tonight, sit in front of the TV and watch a cheesy movie or two. And then come back and yell at me.

UMMMMMM……..30 days of Night is not about zombies……..it’s about vampires and definitely not cheesy at all. Maybe pay more attention to the movies and get your facts straight first .
