Look at the new trailer for the Bryan Singer directed Valkyrie starring Tom Cruise.

Not much different than previous versions, I’m afraid it might be a little too sensationalized. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.�

Whoopi Goldberg revealed on Monday that Elisabeth Hasselbeck gets the most death threats of anyone on The View. No wonder with the way Elisabeth has been so vocal about the election. But Whoopi goes on to say that it just wouldn’t be the same without Elisabeth…

“Politically we could not be more opposite, but I respect her tremendously. Truth is, we could not have a dialogue without Elizabeth. It’s not that we have to agree, the important thing is that we have the conversation.”

I wonder how long they are going to let Elisabeth speak out the way she does? I used to like her until she got all aggressive.

Kate Beckinsale is always speaking out on things that sometimes she should keep her mouth shut on. But, I do think she’s great as an actress and especially in Underworld. But in a recent interview she said she was done with the sequels of the franchise.

�I think they�re still going, they probably will. I�m not sure I will. I feel like I�ve played that character enough times that I don�t think I�d be excited to play the same character again. It�s a weird experience. I�ve never done that before, you�re playing the same character in two movies, and after two, I feel like I�m kind of done with that.�

No more of seeing Kate in tight leather? What? I don’t think anyone else could take her place in those movies!

Did you ever think you’d see the day when The Beatles had their video game?� I bet not many would have thought they’d see a Led Zepplin, Boston, or David Bowie game either, but the “Rock Band” kind of changed that.

Paul McCartney and crew will be part of a game created as a part of the “Rock Band” franchise, but with a whole different feel, an exclusive journey through the band’s growth from its Liverpool beginnings into super-stardom.� Sounds pretty dope!� The interactive game is just lifting off the ground, so obviously details are minimal, but Billboard has the scoop thus far.

Lauren Conrad looked on the more demure and conservative side on the red carpet for The Hope Honors, hosted by The Avon Foundation for whom she is a spokesperson. The gala was held at Cipriani 42nd St. and was talked up by LC during her appearance on David Letterman.This girl looks amazing no matter what she wears, but I do love her in this perfect little dress and updo.

Beyonce is seeing another hit album with the rise of her lead single (from next month’s I Am… Sasha Fierce) “If I Were a Boy” climbing from its position last week #63 to #3 this week, just behind T.I.‘s “Whatever U Like” and “Life Your Life”.

The mid-tempo single (think “Irreplacable” if you haven’t heard it yet) with an empowering theme, and an even more innovative music video, is catching on quickly in mainstream, and well- there’s not a whole lot of surprise in that.

After a sleepless night put American Idol alum Kellie Pickler in front of her computer late one night, she found a PETA website and ended up converting to vegetarianism.

“Most country girls do like their meat!” Pickler, who finished in sixth place on Idol’s fifth season,�toldPeople in a Tuesday report. “I used to eat steak rare all the time. I’d just throw it on the grill for two seconds, flip it over and it was done and everyone was like, ‘That’s so gross – that thing is still moving!’”

“One night I couldn’t sleep and I was up and just Googling random stuff and I’m like, ‘Hmmm, PETA.’ I saw all the videos and I just thought it was horrible,” Pickler told People. “It’s animal cruelty. A lot of it has to do with knowing what happens to the animals and it really bothered me and so I will not eat meat.”

Pickler said her�decision was met with initial skepticism from Carrie Underwood, a longtime vegetarian who has been crowned PETA’s “world’s sexiest female�celebrity vegetarian” twice in the last four years.

“I texted Carrie and was like, ‘You’re never going to believe this!’ And she was like, ‘No way! I’ll give you three days!’” Pickler told People of the fourth-season American Idol champion’s�initial reaction. Underwood became less skeptical when Pickler sent her a second text message update two weeks into her new all-veggie diet. “She was like, ‘Wow, I’m so proud of you! You’re doing better than I thought!’” Pickler told People. “So we have this little vegetarian thing going on. I’ll text her and be like, ‘Is fish considered a meat?’ And she’ll be like, ‘Well, different people look at it differently.’”

Pickler said she’s now been a vegetarian for five months�and her body has felt better since making the switch. Still, she added she hasn’t become preachy about converting people away from meat and said it was simply a choice that was good for her. “It’s not like I’m not going to go to dinner with someone if they’re going to order a chicken,” she told People. “It’s just a personal thing to me and I’m not preaching about it to anyone. But I feel more healthy.”

Personally, I am very carnivorous, but more power to Kellie for getting healthy and standing up for what she believes in.

Lacey Schwimmer, professional partner to Lance Bass on Dancing with the Stars, has been diagnosed with the same ailment that sidelined Julianne Hough- endometriosis.

�A few days ago, I started feeling very shaky, very weak, and I had awful cramps � I didn�t really know what was going on,� she told The Insider. �I went to go get checked out today and I actually have the beginning onset of what Julianne has.�

For all non-doctors out there: endometriosis is a medical condition found in 5 percent to 10 percent of females; it ss the development of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the surfaces of organs, such as the appendix, in the pelvis or abdomen.

�It hurts very bad,� she said. �Right now I�m insanely weak, and the room is spinning.� But, for now, Schwimmer won�t require surgery. Look for her to be getting down with Bass on next week’s show. �I have medication that is taking care of it,� she said. �We caught it at a very good time.�

Kinda freaky, eh? It’s not like this illness is contagious!
