Singer Jessica Simpson and her friend and hair stylist Ken Paves were out and about enjoying a friendly evening together, when they were literally attacked by the paparazzi waiting outside the Madeo�s restaurant this Saturday night.

We’re told Ken was escorting Jess out of the restaurant, when the sea of snappers swarmed – and in the madness, one guy hit Ken near his eye with a part of a camera.

With blood trickling down his face, Ken still managed to get Jess inside their waiting ride. Their driver then whisked the group to a nearby hospital, where Jess accompanied her friend inside the building.

We have photos of Jessica and Ken leaving the restaurant and they sure don�t seem happy with all the attention they are getting. We wish a fast recovery for Ken! Jessica probably got the scare of her life too! We hope they are both well.

Sometimes paparazzi can be scary unscrupulous people who will do anything to get the shot but there should be some type of limit or a code (first, do no harm!!).
