Oh yeah, and Perez Hilton co-hosted the event that capped off such wins, the MTV European Music Awards.

Winners 30 Seconds to Mars front man Jared Leto got the crowd to chant “Congrats Barack” and Katy Perry rocked an Obama-print dress.

Most interestingly though, viral video champ (the result of the UK-originated phenomenon “Rick Rolling”) Rick Astley won the title “Best Act Ever” officially making this the most meaningless awards process of all time.
