As The Hills gets underway, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were sent to NYC for Men’s Fashion Week and they got assigned to the Buckler show. At the fittings, Whitney was reunited with model Alex whom she had gone out with the last time she was in NYC. She and Lauren also met a hottie model named Adam, who later invited them both to his restaurant that night.

They hit it up that night and Whitney is immediately drawn to the musician playing, who happens to be Adam’s bff and roomie. Alex shows up, but there’s no room for him anywhere near Whitney, so he hangs out and watches from afar. When Jay Lyons (the musician) comes down off stage and meets Whitney, fireworks erupt and Whitney tries to juggle him, LC, and Alex. However, Jay wins most of her time and convinces her to leave with him, without even telling Alex goodbye.

Meanwhile, after being let go from Bolthouse in the last episode, Heidi Montag got up early the next morning to work on her resume. Spencer Pratt, of course, tempted her with breakfast and hanging out.

Later, their night out smacked of a setup as they wound up at a function connected to Brent when their goal was to go out for fun to forget him.� Spencer decided to go confront Bolthouse, but Heidi begged him, �Don�t say anything please. Leave it alone.� Shockingly, Spencer went and talked to Brent anyway, but Brent told him he’s bad news and that was pretty much it. Heidi tried to remedy the situation by going over on her own behalf next. But, again, Brent called it like everyone sees it. �Dude, your boyfriend�s a nightmare.” Amen to that.

Looks like next week Heidi somehow hets her job back. Geesh… Never in the real world. And hopefully soon we get to see more of Whitney and Jay’s romance before she breaks the news that she’s moving to NYC and is off the show.
