Aaron Eckhart Starring in ‘Battle: Los Angeles’
For the first time Aaron Eckhart will be playing the lead role in a high profile action film. The movie is called Battle: Los Angeles.
Aaron Eckhart is attached to star in “Battle: Los Angeles,” a sci-fi actioner that Jonathan Liebesman is directing for Columbia. Neal Moritz and his Original Film are producing.
The story, written by Chris Bertolini, revolves around a Marine platoon’s encounter in the battle on the streets of Los Angeles against an alien invasion. Eckhart will play the platoon leader in the film, which has yet to set a start date.
Sounds odd, I hope there is more to the story than that. Alien invasion isn’t exactly a new subject, and action in Los Angeles isn’t exactly rare in films either. Eckhart is a great actor, it will be interesting to see him in this kind of role.
