Jodie Sweetin: Back on Drugs, Loses Custody of Baby

Former Full House child star Jodie Sweetin and her husband Cody Herpin were filming their rock ‘n roll reality series when she said goodbye to the marriage. Now, there seems to be even more trouble in paradise.

Anyway, actress Jodie Sweetin is no longer allowed to see her eight-month-old daughter Zoie without supervision, according to a new court ruling.

A Orange County, Calif., judge made the decision after Sweetin’s estranged husband, Cody Herpin, accused the former Full House star of being an unfit mother – citing an alleged incident in which Sweetin drove drunk with Zoie in the car.

Jodie Sweetin, an admitted meth addict and alcoholic who moved in with her parents after staring down foreclosure at her own residence, is not allowed to be with Zoie unless one of her folks is present. Well, at least they live together.

A doctor also took the stand and claimed that Jodie had recently fallen off the wagon. However, the doctor said Jodie has been in touch with her sponsor and attending AA meetings. She does not believe the baby is at risk at the moment.

In a sign that can only be taken as promising for their daughter, the judge ordered both Cody and Jodie to submit to drug tests before the next hearing.

Wow, it somehow always surprises me when people who are given so much throw it all away. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family and that poor sweet baby.
