Oscar Winner Writing New Angelina Jolie Movie ‘Salt’

They picked an Academy Award winning writer Brian Helgeland to pen the script for Angelina Jolie‘s upcoming Salt. Now you may not recognize this screenwriter by name but…

…he’s one of the bigger ones out there, having won an Oscar for writing L.A. Confidential as well as writing the words of Mystic RiverA Knight’s Tale and Conspiracy Theory.

Now he’s bringing his expertise to Salt, that spy project that was once about a man named Edwin Salt played by Tom Cruise, and now is Angelina Jolie playing Evelyn Salt.

Sounds like a very good thing, hopefully it’s a really good role for Angelina. Can you imagine knowing every word you write is something Angelina Jolie will utter on screen? Talk about pressure, but he’s obviously equipped for it.

I read in a star magazine they were looking for someone to play the part of Angelina when she was 12 or 13 in the movie salt. My granddaughter is almost 12 and looks about 13 or 14 and she has the long dark brown hair with dark brown eyes and the beautiful lips Angelina is know for. I think she looks so much like her. Check out Alexis Funderburk on Facebook for all her pictures.
