We reported on Friday that Tom Brady proposed to girlfriend Gisele Bundchen on a private jet on Christmas Eve.� Now, reports have surfaced that their engagement story might have been fabricated.

Tom’s father, Tom Brady Sr., dismissed the engagement as

“rumor, rumor, rumor … We don’t know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there’s nothing to say.”

Gisele’s twin sister (you mean there are TWO of them?� Sheesh!!) Patricia said that the rumors were “not true.”

Gisele’s rep had no comment when asked.� A rep for Tom’s team, the New England Patriots, said:

“I heard the report that he [proposed] on a plane, but I don’t think it’s true.”

Further, the couple were seen out in Boston over the weekend and Gisele was wearing no engagement ring.� However, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything, IMO… if she had a ring, it could have been at the jeweler being sized.

I think there are too many questions still to call this one. We’ll just have to see what happens!
