According to InTouch Weekly (not your most reputable of tabloid rags, mind you) Britney Spears is petrified that her comeback will fall flat on its Cheeto-lovin’ face when she embarks on her world tour promoting her hit album Circus. Given her past, it’s an entirely believable concern, one that… more than a few months of psycho therapy probably could have aided.

Either way, a “source” has repoted that her way of manifesting said concerns has been through an acute case of good ol’fashioned stage fright that’s dated back to her Mickey Mouse Club days.

“Britney has a great time doing choreography and rehearsing, but when it’s time to perform, she gets nervous,” says a source.� “She really wants to please her fans.”

With the exception of a few gigs at the House of Blues in ’07, Brit hasn’t toured since 2004.
