‘America’s Next Top Model’ Winner Eva Marcille Pigford Engaged
Eva Marcille (who was known by Eva Pigford on America’s Next Top Model) received a big surprise on Christmas Eve from boyfriend Lance Gross. The House of Payne actor popped the question to “Eva the Diva” with a 3.36 1895 pave Cartier ring as family and friends looked on.
“I cried. It was totally unexpected. I’m still in shock,” Marcille told Essence following the engagement. “I could not even sleep because I was afraid that I might wake up from the most beautiful dream ever.”
Eva, who won the third season of Top Model in 2004 as a 19 year old is now a 23 year old soap opera actress on CBS’ The Young and the Restless. She met Gross when she auditioned for a part in House of Payne two years ago.
No wedding date has been set, but the couple is looking to have a summer 2010 wedding. Geesh… Could you wait a little longer?
“To put it simply, he makes me a better me,” Marcille told Essence. “I am now complete.”
