Just because you’re a star doesn’t mean you can’t get starstruck!� Gossip Girl hottie Ed Westwick is no exception.� He recently told how meeting one of his idols didn’t go exactly how he would have hoped.� He was at a party in New York City when:

“I went to the toilet and there was David Beckham…I couldn’t say anything, I just ran out. A friend tried to persuade me to say ‘Hello’ but I couldn’t do it. It was ridiculous… I had a Beckham shirt when I was a kid and he was the one I watched growing up.”

But don’t expect him to take advantage of another opportunity with Becks.

“I just can’t go up to him. I can’t do it.”

I can imagine getting totally tongue-tied and freaked out in that situation!� I mean seriously, how would Ed feel peeing at a urinal next to David Beckham?� That would be more than a little awkward, no matter how famous you are.
