Jennifer Love Hewitt and fiancee, Ross McCall, looked so happy back in Thanksgiving when they were helping out in the Mission serving dinner to the homeless. And back just a week or so ago they were walking hand-in-hand, but you could see the strain on their faces. I honestly never thought that the two of them would break-up. I thought that Jennifer had found the love of her life.

“[Jennifer and Ross] broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement,” says a source close to the couple. “They’re both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them.”

Jennifer hadn’t revealed a wedding date yet but she always talked about looking great for when the time would come.

“I’m getting ready to turn 30 and get married and all those things,” Hewitt said. “This year was my year to try to glow from within and feel better.”

I really hope that she can be happy. I only wish the best for the two of them.
