More Drama to Come for Six “Real Housewives of New York”

The premiere date for the second season of The Real Housewives of New York has been announced, and we can all now brace ourselves for another elite-fest, drama-filled, yet utterly boring season.

Bravo has announced that the second season of The Real Housewives of New York City will premiere Tuesday, February 17 at 11PM ET/PT, immediately after the network’s 10PM ET/PT broadcast of fourth-season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

I don’t really get these shows… Orange County will have not even been on but a couple months, and they shut it down to premiere New York. However, I have to say I am REALLY excited about not having to see annoying Vicki Gunvalson anymore. Hopefully she will learn from Lauri and put her family first and not return for next season!

The Real Housewives of New York City’s second season will continue to chronicle the daily lives of  Alex McCord, Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin, LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer as they balance their busy home and work schedules with the demands of the New York and the Hamptons social scenes.

However, joining the women for the show’s second season will be new housewife Kelly Killoren Bensimon. Bensimon is ”an accomplished model, equestrian, author, editor, and designer” and mother of two daughters who is “known as one of New York City’s major tastemakers,” according to Bravo.

In addition to the “normal” city life, we will see one newly single lady’s new dating life, one deal with empty-next sundrome, and another begin an anti-aging skincare line for HSN. How exciting!
