Kate Hudson S-teals The People’s Choice Awards
Kate Hudson took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Leading Lady. She won against her Bride Wars co-star Anne Hathaway! See the full list of winners here.
Here are some of the highlights of the interview that Kate did in the pressroom at the People’s Choice Awards:
On Kate being into girls: “A girlfriend called me and said, ‘Are you making out with girls now? I was like, ‘What are you taking about?’ No, no, no. Strictly boys for me!”
On why she was late to the awards show and had Ellen Degeneres present for her: “I went home and was cooking for the birthday party. I made sure I got the cake, and I got dressed up and I came here. It took me an hour and a half!”
It was Kate’s son, Ryder’s birthday yesterday too!
On Ryder’s birthday party bash: “It’s a school day, so we had his birthday after school. It was like old school - Star Wars! We had his friends over and celebrated. Hopefully, he’s asleep [by now], but he might be up with all the sugar he had!”
Now that is dedication on Kate’s part. She has a birthday party for her son and then she goes out at night to the People’s Choice Awards.
