10:37 pm: Cameron Diaz and Mark Wahlberg are presenting the award for Best Actress In A Motion Picture, Drama. And the winner is Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road. Which is fine for me because I didn’t like the dirty look Angelina Jolie gave everyone when they said her name.
10:39 pm: Kate Winslet really doesn’t know what to say and tells the wrapping up people that she is so not ready to wrap it up. She is so cute that she finally got an award for being such a great actress. She also professes her love to Leonardo DiCaprio and of course her husband, Sam Mendes, that directed the movie. Her humbleness makes me want to cry more.
10:43 pm: Blake Lively and Rainn Wilson are presenting the award for Best Television Series, Drama. And the winner is Mad Men.
10:50 pm: Susan Sarandon is presenting the award for Best Actor In A Motion Picture, Drama. And the winner is Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler. I am really surprised at that one…but happy that he is back and healthy.
10:58 pm: Tom Cruise is presenting the award for the Best Motion Picture, Drama. And the winner is Slumdog Millionaire. I knew that it would take all the awards it was up for.
I can’t believe how long the Golden Globe Awards were this year. It was an amazing ride. And when I get a moment to remember what happened I’m sure I will remember alot more. Some of my favorite moments? Tina Fey & Kate Winslet’s acceptance speeches. Feel free to leave your favorite moments. Tomorrow will be the pictures.
