Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ to Star Liam Neeson

Steven Spielberg is always making the massive movies about the biggest stories. He’s getting ready to tell the story of Abraham Lincoln and he wants Liam Neeson to play him. Neeson said:

“He asked me four years ago would I play this part and I most certainly said I would. He’ll do it whenever he’s ready to do it, but it’s in the works” he added.

Neeson also confirmed he’d hadn’t seen any script yet, nor did he know from how young Spielberg wanted the actor to play the former President. Lincoln was 56 when he was assassinated, which is Neeson’s current age.

Spielberg hasn’t yet commited to a starting date or confirmed whether it might happen this year. His immediate next project is the first of the “Tintin” motion-capture films.

When it does happen, you know it will be huge. I’m looking forward to it.
