YouTube Muting Videos With Unauthorized Music On Them

One of my favorite parts of going to YouTube is seeing the fan video’s. It’s amazing how they make the video and music blend in together. But as of now YouTube is starting to mute anything that has unauthorized copyrighted music attached to it. So now you can go to a page and see like what is in the above picture…

“This video contains an audio track that has not been authorised by all copyright holders. The audio has been disabled.”

Here is another example of it on YouTube itself. So now exactly how much of YouTube is going to be affected by this? Probably millions of videos, spoofs and remixes…gone! I guess it won’t be such a cool place to hang out when all the music is gone. What’s next? Blanking out the video so we can only hear the music? Things are getting crazy there.
