Suspect in Jennifer Hudson Tragedy Pleads Not Guilty
Jennifer Hudson’s brother-in-law, William Balfour, has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and home invasion. He stands accused of killing her mother, brother and nephew.
Nodding to members of his family as he stepped into the courtroom, Balfour (the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia Hudson) entered his plea Tuesday at Cook County Criminal Court, the Associated Press reports.
Hudson is scheduled to perform at the Superbowl and the Grammy‘s.
