Former Backstreet Boy Member Back on the Booze?
A.J. McLean (one of the most ironic last names ever, considering) may have fallen off the wagon well-publicized by his battle with alcoholism, according to TMZ – who spotted the former boy bander last night stumbling out of Hollywood night spot Key Club.
As McLean nearly falls into the street, one of his friends calls him out — right out in the middle of Hollywood — emotionally confronting the guy who went to rehab for alcohol and cocaine abuse in 2001… and again in 2002.
Witnesses inside the Key Club say they saw McLean taking shots and drinking beers during the show. After the confrontation, McLean’s friends forced him into a cab and sent him home.

I think this is so sad. He was always my favorite singer of the Backstreet Boys and I so very much admired him. It’s too bad he’s fallen so far. I hope he fixes his problem for good at some point.
