‘Green Hornet’ Lives

greenhornetlogo-1

This week there were rumors of Seth Rogen‘s The Green Hornet getting cancelled. Fortunately that’s not the case! The film is still on track, despite the loss of Steven Chow as director.

Some of the (assumed) studio disinterest came from the directorial departure of Stephen Chow. Says Rogen: “[The studio heads] have every intention on making it, and assuming we’re able to hire a new director in the upcoming weeks, which seems like a distinct possibilty [sic], it should still hit the release date.” In the meantime, Harry at AICN insists that his sources in Chow’s camp say he’s still going forward in the role of Kato, and that his departure was directorial only.

This should be a very cool movie, or at least funny.
