Is it just me or have things died down a bit for Robert Pattinson since he cut his hair? But in any case he has made the the VOLCOM Volcott Men�s Beanie a very popular fashion accessory. (I have seen Jake Gyllenhaal and Milo Ventimiglia wearing them!) I’m sure every man will want to buy one so they have all the girls swoon over them.

So what is Robert’s secret to his greatly styled ‘long’ hair? He recently told Robert Pattinson Online exactly how he did it.

�It�s the funniest thing. I just wear a hat a lot. I have so much residue crap in my hair from years and years and years of not washing it and not having any sense of personal hygiene whatsoever.

“Even today, I go into these things where I�m supposed to be this sexy guy or whatever, and I�m literally asking [the studio rep] if I get plumes of dandruff on me, can you just brush it off.�

I couldn’t imagine going longer than washing my hair for two days. I’m not sure how he can go for six weeks…but he says once you are over that six week hump you are in the clear.

�That it starts to wash itself,” Robert says. “If you don�t wash it for six weeks you won�t have to wash it ever again. Until it gets unbearable.”

Why would he even admit that? I couldn’t even imagine running my hands through that hair anymore or even fathom the smell…no wonder he cut it!
