We already know that George Clooney is back on the set of ER and he is looking hotter than ever in those sexy scrubs.  Now we have some new info on upcoming episodes as well:

Sources tell me the episode currently on the ER production schedule is called “What We Do,” which will be written and directed by longtime ER show runner David Zabel, and it’s a special documentary-style installment of the show. Could Clooney be shooting “archive” footage that would be cut into the documentary?

And then there’s “In Times of Old,” an episode that ER boss and friend-of-George John Wells is writing and directing, which sets up several storylines that will wrap in the two-hour series finale. There’s at least one pediatric ER patient in the ep, and Dr. Ross is, of course, a pediatric specialist. Hmmm…

Do you think Clooney will be back for “What We Do” or “In Times of Old,” or are they just shooting around his busy superstar schedule for scenes that will appear in the season finale (currently set to be filmed in late February)?

I am so excited to see Dr Ross back in action.  I hope he is in more than one episode!!

Shia LaBeouf was seen the other day with a paper bag over his head in Glendale, California. But not yesterday. He went out for lunch yesterday with a friend and was seen with a cast on his arm. I wonder what he ordered! We will probably see a lot of Shia walking for the next little while because of  his license being taken away.

I actually got a chance to watch Transformers last night because my son was watching it. He isn’t a bad actor at all…and hey, he got to kiss Megan Fox so it isn’t all bad.  Just Jared is reporting that the injury to his left hand has been written into the next Transformers movie. So I bet Shia is happy about that!

I knew when Brittany Flickinger became Paris Hilton‘s new BFF it wouldn’t last long. Brittany has released her first single, Treat Me So Bad. And it’s not bad! So was that Brittany’s game all along? To use Paris so she could finally get somewhere with her career…

And now after the rumors of Brittany not hanging out with Paris at the Sundance Film Festival, MTV has decided to use now to start promoting  the new season of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, Part Deux. Maybe it’s all about the commercialism and promoting the new BFF. And if that’s the case I’m going to sign up. I have talents that could use some publicity.

Actress Hayden Panettiere went to the NV Lounge in New York and tried to sneak in some booze while partying out with friends. The problem is that she is 19 years-old so when the bartender asked for the ID and confirmed she was under 21, he promptly confiscated it.

Hayden was so mad because the little princess had to travel and desperately needed her ID that she called 911. Yep, you heard it right! Hayden called the cops on herself and here is the transcript of this very interesting phone call.

911 Operator: What’s your name?
Panettiere: Hayden. I went into a bar and I showed them my ID. They let me in and um…he took my ID and he won’t give it back.
911 Operator: What bar is it?
Panettiere: NV.
911 Operator: NV?
Panettiere: Yeah.
911 Operator: Okay, and they took your ID and they’re not going to give it back to you?
Panettiere: Yeah, and I need to get on a plane in a couple of days and I really need my ID back…I live in California.
911 Operator: Okay, we have officers on the way.
Panettiere: Thank you very much.

The NV Lounge owner says the actress seemed upset when talking to police. “She was crying,” Reznik says. I would be crying too!! Hayden, NY is not Europe or a fancy Hollywood party!! You cannot drink if you aren’t at least 21 years-old.

After all this mess, Reznik says Hayden is still welcome at NV Lounge: “She is welcome to have dinner, but to party you have to be over 21.”

Actress Kate Winslet, who recently won two Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress, arrived at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival at the Arlington Theater last Friday (Jan. 23rd) looking gorgeous and radiant. The actress chose a simple black and white dress that accentuated her curves.

Kate just cannot do wrong! She must have one hell of a good stylist or just really good taste. I cannot say the same thing for her hair – it seems Kate was in a hurry and forgot to get her hair done! Anyway she still looked just amazing as she picked a Montecito Award! Another one for Kate! This is definitely going to be her year! Crossing fingers for Oscars!

So we all know that Neil Patrick Harris’ character on How I Met Your Mother has hooked up with countless women.  Well, maybe they are countable if you are a crazed fan and actually keep track. And if that’s the case, you need to get a life.

Now there are ideas being tossed around for his next conquest on the show:

“I think Barney should hook up with Betty White at some point,” Harris told us last night at the opening of the Art L.A. exhibit benefiting the Museum of Contemporary Art. “That’s my big pitch. We’ll see if it happens.”

Yes, that Betty White—the 87-year-old former Golden Girls star!

And while a rep for the show says there have not been any discussions just yet, they are open to the possibility. “I’m sure it’d be fun. I’ve worked with Betty before, and she’s great!”

White’s team is open to it, too. “Have someone make me an offer,” White’s agent, Jeff Witjas, tells us. “I do hope, though, that Barney is really up to dating Betty. She will run him ragged.”

Harris isn’t the only one who’s after White these days. She has just been cast to guest appear on NBC’s My Name Is Earl. White is only signed on for “one episode at this time,” Witjas tells us. “Betty plays the crazy witch lady.”

Gossip Girl is getting things set to make the spinoff.  But, they haven’t made a decision on who is going to play Lily……the Lily form the past.

According to sources, the spinoff-setup episode of Gossip Girl shoots in Los Angeles in mid-March, meaning there are just two short months to cast these roles…

* Li’l Lily, as we like to call her around here, is being touted as a 16-year-old version of the Lily van der Woodsen we all know and love. Gorgeous and privileged, this Lily has a bit of a rebellious streak that doesn’t sit too well with the parentals. When she’s kicked out of her prestigious boarding school, Lily is forced to relocate to her older sister’s home in none other than…the Valley!
* Carol Rhodes, Lily’s adorable big sis, is a free-spirited actress waiting for her big break! She’s in her early 20s and always seems to be making bad decisions—the wrong men, the wrong career choices…you name it! Her screwups will definitely add a fun, comic element to the show. I vote for Amanda Detmer or Kiele Sanchez, but who would you pick to play Serena’s wacky aunt? Post your picks in the comments.
* Lily’s dad, Rick Rhodes, is a handsome and charming music exec always looking for the next big thing. By the looks of it, Rick will have no trouble fitting in on the West Coast: Hot young girlfriend? Check. Supertanned and toned? Check. Paging Harry Hamlin? Check!
* There’s even going to be a young version of Cece, Lily’s mom. Not much has changed from the version of Cece we know from Gossip Girl—same overly critical, stuffy and cold New Yorker, just younger. Maybe Teri Polo? Last but not least, expect some eye candy, too! Owen, a 19-year-old hottie from the wrong side of the tracks is in the works. Possible love interest for Lily? What will Rufus think?!

Owen Wilson stole a lot of hearts again when he appeared in the movie Marley & Me. It was really nice to see him back on the big screen. He’s one of my secret crushes for sure. Owen has revealed that there is nothing sexier on a date than spending the date in the outdoors.

“I was always intrigued when people said they went hiking so I tried it out and I really enjoyed it. It’s a great thing to take a girl to do. I love to get out there and see nature. It’s great to get out there, talk and learn about each other.”

I have to agree with him. I do a lot of hiking in the summer and I love being with the nature. I am still routing for Owen and Kate Hudson to get back together. I think they are great for each other.

Katie Stam, the 21 year old Miss Indiana, won the Miss America Crown tonight in Las Vegas. Katie Stam is a communications major at the University of Indianapolis who plans to work in television news. She began competing in pageants at age 15. Katie takes home a $50,000 scholarship and will be embarking on a year of travel and public appearances.

This year the pageant was aired on the TLC network, it had been dropped by network TV when in 2004 it drew in the lowest ratings. Tonight though the show was hosted by Mario Lopez with co-host Clinton Kelly from What Not To Wear. Judges included Laura Bell Bundy, Miss America 1999 Nicole Johnson, hairstylist Ken Paves and Olympic swimmer Cullen Jones.

The competition was interesting this year with all the girls not being stick thin. TLC also added fun to it by in its scorecard for home viewers posted online, it asked viewers to count the number of mentions of world peace and to name the contestant with best spray tan.

And the questions they asked were harder, like “Should college be free for everyone?” I think the answer was answered brilliantly by saying that the government needs to make it more affordable instead of free.

When Katie Stam walked down the runway as Miss America everyone cheered. Congrats to her…the next couple of days are going to be a whirlwind for her.
