New Kids On The Block Hit The O2 Arena

New Kids On The Block

New Kids on the Block kicked of their UK tour last night by performing at the O2 Arena in Manchester, England. It’s like a dream of mine to be able to write about Jordan Knight, Jon Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg. And in those shots of Joey singing alone I can just picture him singing, Please Don’t Go Girl. Man, the teenager in me needs to stop getting so giddy. It’s also nice that they are offering a cruise…did you get your tickets yet? I know I would like to be stuck with those boys on a boat for sure!

Tracy Morgan Likes His Stove Top Stuffing

Tracy Morgan

I really don’t like Tracy Morgan much. I think he’s one of those comedians that you either love or hate right away. And I hate him.

In the latest issue of Maxim magazine Tracy missed the moment to keep his mouth shut. He was talking about many of his tattoos, they ranged from names to a cross. But then the interview went a little wonky. He started talking about a tattoo his nether region named ‘stove top’.  Yes, he actually went out and got stove top tattooed on his wee wee. (How much would that have hurt?)

“I’m pretty well-endowed. A girl told me to get that because I stuffed her up like a turkey. She said, ‘You should call that Stove Top!’”

I wonder how much you have to pay to actually get someone to tattoo you there? I’m sure it would hurt and not in a good hurt type of way. And I have many tattoos so I know that the healing time would probably hurt even more than getting the tattoo itself.

Way to go in talking about that one Tracy!

Patrick Swayze: The Right Choice

Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze amazes me.  His strength in his personal life just pours out to everyone around him.

If you haven’t watched Swayze’s new show on A&E, ‘The Beast‘ you are missing out!  Set your DVR and make sure to watch.

Here is a run down on last night’s intense show, ‘Two Choices‘:

Barker and Ellis are assigned to take down a major drug trafficking ring run by a man named Jimmy Casserly–who happens to be in the Chicago Police Department’s (CPD) custody. Barker fears that if Casserly stays in CPD custody, his drug deal won’t go through and they won’t have enough evidence to lock him up for good. The partners come up with a risky scheme to bust Casserly out of CPD custody and all is going well until a major wrench is thrown in the gears–an ex cop with a personal vendetta is also chasing Casserly. Meanwhile, Ellis continues to burn the candle at both ends. He runs into Rose and she questions what he does for a living, and Ray from Internal Affairs tries to convince him that Barker is crooked by giving him a DVD with supposed evidence against his mentor.

Patrick Swayze has done it again….everything he touches turns to gold.

It’s Ladies Night….

Caroline Zhang

Tonight is the best night of the U.S. Skating Championships on NBC.  Well, at least I think it’s the best.

While the U.S. men may claim multiple Olympic medal contenders, a reliable star has yet to emerge among the ladies. With the injury withdrawals of 2007 U.S. champion Kimmie Meissner and two-time medalist Emily Hughes, both 2006 Olympians, the skaters at this year’s U.S. Championships are almost entirely of the next generation. Of the 19 ladies who competed at this event in 2006, just prior to the Torino Games, only two — Alissa Czisny and Bebe Liang — are skating in Cleveland.

The defending champion is 15-year-old Mirai Nagasu, who has struggled with just about everything in the year since winning her first U.S. title — a growth spurt, an ankle injury, harsh marks from international judges, and a self-described emerging rebellious streak. But the affable Nagasu is tolerant of her teenage troubles.

“If I get through all of the hard stuff now, it will be like getting over a mountain where climbing up is difficult, but climbing back down is fun and full of excitement,” Nagasu said in a conference call last week. “Just the prospect of what’s beyond that mountain makes me want go farther.”

Nagasu may not reach the summit this season, but she remains among the most promising U.S. prospects. The 2009 title could go to last year’s runner-up, reigning world junior champion Rachael Flatt, or the aggressive Ashley Wagner, who is re-working her style this season under Priscilla Hill, the former longtime coach of Johnny Weir.

Alissa Czisny and Caroline Zhang have the potential to be among the world’s most breathtaking skaters, but both face considerable challenges: Czisny with inconsistency and Zhang, the 2007 world junior champion, with jump technique and speed.

Be sure to watch ladies night on NBC at 9pm eastern TONIGHT!!  Go USA!!

Numb3rs: Trouble in Chinatown

Numb3rs

Ok, sometimes the show can have elements that really creep me out.  Last night on Numb3rs,  ‘Trouble in Chinatown‘ just happened to be one of those episodes; women being buried ALIVE with dead guys!  Skin is crawling!  eeeekkkk!!

In case  you missed it:

The FBI works with immigration control enforcement (ICE) when one of their undercover Chinese agents goes missing from a sweatshop in Chinatown, just as a gang war erupts between the leader of a human trafficking/sweatshop ring, Jimmy Lim, and the leader of what is assumed to be a prostitution ring, Henry Yoon. David and Colby get caught in the middle of this feud when they witness Jimmy shoot Henry dead and are forced to fire on Jimmy, killing him and eliminating one of the few people that can help them understand exactly what sparked the gang war. With Charlie, Larry and Amita’s help, the team discovers that Henry and his brother Walter were not only running a prostitution ring, but also a ghost bride service for the families of Chinese men who died before getting married. Henry and Walter would provide young women to be buried alive with the deceased, and had been stealing undocumented girls away from Jimmy’s operation, prompting Jimmy to confront Henry. The psychic Simon Kraft (episode 217) returns in this episode and provides assistance in locating the missing ICE agent, but is ultimately run down and killed by a fleeing suspect.

Now, I will try and get the thoughts of being buried alive out of my mind by next week!!  I know, I’m a wuss.

Clay Aiken Kisses His Boyfriend In A Photo Booth

Clay Aiken and Boyfriend

Clay Aiken and his boyfriend, Reed Kelly, decided to get down and crazy in a photo booth at the closing night party for the Broadway play, Spamalot. It’s nice to finally see how cute they are together. I’m happy for that three-some family. Parker is the luckiest baby in the world!

Jennifer Love Hewitt: Hollywood’s Hottest New Director

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt might be single now, but she has plenty to keep herself busy.  Last night she began a new path in life, as a director!

Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love Hewitt makes her directing debut in this episode with a script by Executive Producer P.K. Simonds (“Ghost Busted” and 6 others) and Co-Executive Produce Laurie McCarthy (“Pieces of You” and 6 others). Kenneth Mitchell returns as Sam Lucas along with Teri Polo (Meet the Parents, The West Wing) as Nikki Peck, a romantic rival of Melinda’s and April Grace (Magnolia, Joan of Arcadia) as The Watcher. Other guest stars include Emmy winner David Clennon (Dream On, The Agency) as Carl Sessick, a ghost who wrecks havoc, and Jessica Tuck (One Life to Live, Judging Amy).

Last night’s episode was GREAT, ‘Body of Water‘:

When dozens of dead and decomposing bodies are discovered in a local lake, Melinda must help discover how they got there and who they are. As she digs in to the case she discovers that an unscrupulous mortician, Carl Sessick, had told his clients he was cremating the remains of their loved ones, but instead had disposed of them in the lake after his mortuary business had become unprofitable. Melinda convinces Carl, who is on his deathbed, to come clean and give her the names of the bodies he had dumped, and assures him that once he dies all will be forgiven in the light. After giving Melinda his files Carl does die, but instead of finding forgiveness he is approached by “the Watcher” ghosts, who tell him he needs to spend time earthbound helping the living as penance for his misdeeds. Melinda helps Carl start down that path by contacting the many relatives of the lake ghosts, helping them to say goodbye again in a group ceremony. Throughout this entire ordeal, Melinda must also fend off Sam’s ex-girlfriend, Nikki, who has renewed her affection for Sam.

Good for Jennifer.  She doesn’t need a man to keep her happy.  The right guy will come along some day.  And until then, she has her growing success to keep her warm at night.

Friday Night Lights: Hookers At High School?!

Friday Night Lights

I am so glad that NBC got Friday Night Lights back.  I don’t think it was a smart move to give the show to Direct TV.  Talk about eliminating a HUGE  chunk of your viewers!

Last night’s episode was packed with all sorts of drama and emotion.  Loved it!

Tami is all about doing her job as principal and decides to take the jumbotron money and allocate it to academics.  Of course Buddy pitches a huge fit and ends up getting all sweaty and threatening.  Buddy seriously gets on my nerves.  He is like a busybody of football.  The guy needs a new hobby.

Coach is working on getting Smash into shape for a college football walk-on.  Meanwhile, Tyra is grasping at straws by pulling out the hooker act to help get her elected the student body president.

Billy bursts in on Lyla and Tim in bed, with Tim’s letter of interest from Oklahoma State.  Of course Lyla now goes on a mission to make Tim take it seriously.

Katy Perry Won’t Kiss Anyone Else For At Least A Year

Katy Perry 8

After splitting with her longtime boyfriend Travis McCoy, frontman of Gym Class Heroes, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer, Katy Perry, vowed to practice celibacy for a year. She promised to not kiss anyone (boys or girls) except for her cat.

Katy said: “I’ve actually taken a vow of celibacy this year… no kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry.”

Apparently Katy is still mourning the nasty end to a 2 year-old relationship with Travis. The couple had been fighting a lot after Katy’s meteoritic, overnight success, a friend tells: “When somebody becomes very famous very quickly their relationship usually suffers. She’s going through such a huge time at the moment so needs to be on her own.

We say Katy is certainly not serious about it! I give her 2 weeks to find another loser boy/girlfriend or start kissing her grandma… if she can survive another 2 weeks in the spotlight! The girl is tough, I thought her 15 minutes were already over!
