A newly slim and trim Kelly Osbourne has been arrested for an incident in which she slapped gossip columnist Zoe Griffin back in August of 2008.
The 24-year-old singer/DJ reportedly flew into a rage after Griffin called her fiancé, Luke Worrall, stupid. And now she’s being formally charged.
According to a London Police spokesperson, “We can confirm a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police by appointment on 2 January. She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in SoHo in the early hours of 29 August 2008.” Osbourne is free on bail until her court date in March.
During a recent interview, Kelly gushed about how much she loves her fiancé. “I’ve never been this mushy with anybody ever before, but this time I can’t help it. He’s perfect. Everything about him is brilliant. I’m happy. I love him and I’d do anything for him.”
Kinda weird how she’s being arrested 5 months after the fact. Is that normal? I guess nothing about the Osbourne family is normal!

Brody Jenner may be known for his womanizing, partying ways, but apparently his love for 2008 Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole, has turned him around.
“We’re completely smitten for each other,” Jenner said. “I’m loving life… “The reason why I love this girl so much is because she knows me,” the smitten Jenner added. “She gets it … She knows my background.”
Making time to travel, the pair have already visited St. Thomas, Hawaii and the Bahamas. “She’s a great travel partner,” Brody Jenner says.
Back in L.A., the Bromance star says they’re more likely to stay at home than hit the clubs. “We stay in, maybe bake cookies,” he says. “It sounds kind of lame, I know – sorry, boys! – but we bake some cookies, watch DVDs and have nice quality home time.”
Funny how it took a Playboy Playmate to calm him down, but it seems that he’s finally growing up. Good for you, Brody!

Dancing with the Stars professionals Karina Smirnoff and and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were engaged on New Year’s Eve, but now the hot pair are revealing how the big question turned into a big disaster!
“It was the most perfect proposal ever – yet the most disastrous,” the dancer said about the New Year’s Eve proposal.
Chmerkovskiy proposed at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel Resort and Casino by handing his love a limited edition Louis Vuitton bag. “The box with the ring [a 3-carat Harry Winston] was inside, and I thought it was the receipt or something,” Smirnoff said. “When I opened the box, I freaked out and closed it again. I re-opened the box, and he still wasn’t saying anything! He tried to form sentences, but nothing would come out. We both stood there staring at the ring.”
I would have expected more from the very assertive partner to Misty May this past season. I guess even men can be schmoopy sometimes, too!

Stream the new U2 single “Get On Your Boots” here! The single sounds like something out of the 60′s which usually I’d dig, but the band con temporarily known for their big sound/power anthems tread a line for failure when being called a “comeback” single.
Nonetheless, No Line on the Horizon is still slated for a March 3,2009 release date.

Ok, so some Canadian guy with a lot of time on his hands dissected The Bachelor finale promo and has apparently figured out who Jason Mesnick proposed to. While his video is amateur and boring at times, he definitely has a little bit of legitimate evidence.

It’s obvious, that sitting in my Washington D.C. hotel room, that change is just around the corner. So it amused me when I found today that the 2009 Grammy Awards announced their first round of performers via their official Twitter page.
Coldplay, Lil’ Wayne, Jennifer Hudson, Kenny Chesney and The Jonas Brothers will be hitting the stage among others (to be announced still) on February 8th. The announcement of JB as an inclusion on the list of performers shouldn’t be a huge surprise – not only are they nominated for Best New Artist, but the Awards committee hasn’t exactly made a mystery out of their attempts to draw in a younger audience.

I was wondering who Joaquin Phoenix looked like the other day when I saw this picture posted. Then it came to me. It was Animal the Muppet. I’m not sure what is going on with Joaquin but soon we are all going to think he is as wild and as crazy as the Animal.

Courtney Love is smoking something again…and someone needs to stop her! Courtney’s daughter, Frances Bean, is said to to have fallen for the good-looking and sexy, Robert Pattinson. And Courtney is bound and determined to get them together.
‘Courtney thinks he’s charming and handsome and absolutely has to be Frances’s first date,’ says a source. ‘She’s doing everything she can to engineer another meeting.’
Is Courtney serious? I wonder what Frances would think if Mom set her up with Robert. I know it would be a little awkward for me if I went on a date my mom set me up on. But who knows maybe Robert might like going out with Kurt Cobain‘s daughter.
