Thats right a�He-Man and the Masters of the Universe movie is on its way.�

Warner Bros. and producer�Joel Silver�set�”Kung Fu Panda”�co-director John Stevenson to make his live action directing debut on�”Masters of the Universe,”�a re-imagining of the signature Mattel toy line.

He-Man is a brawny prince who transforms into a warrior who becomes the last hope for a magical land called Eternia, which is being ravaged by technology and the evil Skeletor.

It was only a matter of time before this one. Hopefully it’s somewhat of a re-invention to appeal to the grown ups who used to watch the show.

The classic horror film The Thing starring Kurt Russell from 1982 is going to be remade.�

Universal has set�”Battlestar Galactica”�exec producer Ron Moore to write the script and commercials director�Matthijs Van Heijningento direct the re-imagining.

New project borrows heavily from the John W. Campbell Jr. short story “Who Goes There,” the basis of the Carpenter film and 1951Howard Hawks�original “The Thing From Another World.”

Like so many other films, another remake. Are there no new ideas out there? Why can’t they ever leave good enough (or GREAT for that matter) alone?

One of my favorite reality shows is Family Jewels…and a character that seems to be in that show more and more is Carrot Top. I think that Gene Simmons and him are soul mates. Because no matter how annoying Carrot Top gets Gene is always so patient with him. Some of the funniest parts of the show had to do with Carrot Top!

Now these scandalous pictures of Carrot Top and Gene enjoying a nice dinner have surfaced. What will Shannon Tweed say when she sees her man so close to another man? It could just also be just a BROmance in heaven. I think they are cute together.

These vintage pictures of a photo shoot with Pamela Anderson were found yesterday. I have to say that Pamela looks so innocent and pretty in these pictures. I’m sure she looks nothing like this now with all the kids, plastic surgery and tattoos.

There is even rumors floating around that Pamela might be pregnant (for the 400th time). Wouldn’t that be great if her two older sons could have a baby brother? I wouldn’t be impressed if I was them!

First, it was TLC host guy Doug Wilson. Then came American Idol hopeful Emily Hughes... And now it’s Sons of Hollywood star David Weintraub who has been busted for drinking and driving.

The total d-bag was arrested for drunk driving in Los Angeles at 1:30am at Fountain Avenue and Highland Avenue.

This EXCLUSIVE video shows David Weintraub doing a sobriety test and failing. The video then shows the “Sons of Hollywood” star being read his rights, handcuffed and put into the back of a police vehicle. His car is towed away and his hysterical girlfriend is put into a taxi cab.

Wow, this dude’s a total winner.

I’ve been so proud of Paris Hilton for actually getting her fashion together the last week or so. But then she had to step out in these boots… they are fabulous boots, but the leather leggings paired with these things make her look like a big, mean, scary Big Foot monster. The sequin dress is fine, but perhaps a more feminine pump would have made her look a little more feminine and demure.

I can’t hate on the chick for being tall, but just like people with big hips wear certain kinds of pants, people with enormous feet should wear better shoes. Doesn’t she get her BFF Brittany Flickinger to check her outfits before she leaves? Geesh.

Yes, you read that right.� Taylor Swift, our oh so successful teen sensation is designing dresses for Wal-Mart.� I am sure Taylor has got some great design ideas, I just wouldn’t picture them in a Wal-Mart.

“One of my favorite things to wear is a sundress, so I loved designing this new line with l.e.i.,” she said in a statement. “It’s fun to find great clothes that are affordable, so hopefully fans will be happy to see my sundresses at Wal-Mart.”

So, it’s all true.� Taylor Swift and l.e.i. have teamed up and will have huge success selling her frocks at a low price at Wal-Mart.� Taylor will have 3 designs out first and then 2 more will follow in March.

In other news, Taylor is still owning the top of the charts with her 8th week at #1 with her album, ‘Fearless’.

I am really proud of Taylor and all of her huge success.� I think she is a sweet girl and deserves it all!� You go girl!

The View‘s only conservative host that was constantly lit up by her castmates during the election season- Elisabeth Hasselbeck- has announced that she is pregnant with her third child.

“I’m pregnant again!,” the former Survivor: The Australian Outback castaway-turned-The View co-host said on the ABC talk show’s live broadcast on Thursday morning.

“I didn’t even know for two months,” Hasselbeck said. “I was walking around [and] I kept saying ‘It’s Election Night, it’s Election Night’ because I was tired, I was nauseous, I thought I was worn out from the whole procedure.� No, I was knocked up and didn’t realize it.”

In September 2004, Hasselbeck used�ABC talk show�to announce that she and Tim were expecting their first child, Grace, who was born six months later on April 6, 2005.� In March 2007, Hasselbeck announced on The View once again that she would be expecting her second child. On November 7, 2007 she gave birth to Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck.

I often wonder how women don’t know for months at a time that they’re pregnant. I mean there’s this monthly thing that comes around every four weeks or so like clockwork… and pregnancy has some serious side effects. But oh well… they make beautiful babies so congratulations to Elisabeth and Tim!!

Former American Idol winner and currently obsessed with the Twilight series, Kelly Clarkson has set a record on the Billboard charts. Her ‘My Life Would Suck Without You‘ single is set to jump from No. 97 to the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100�chart — a move that will be the biggest jump to No. 1 in the 50-year-old history of the singles chart.

In addition, “My Life Would Suck Without You” will also be jumping from No. 58 to No. 38 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Airplay chart and from No. 27 to No. 18 on its Mainstream Top 40 list.

“My Life Would Suck Without You” actually represents the second time Clarkson has set the record for largest jump to No. 1.� Back in October 2002, her Idol victory song “A Moment Like This” moved from No. 51 to No. 1 on the single sales chart.

Congratulations to Kelly. She’s always been my favorite American Idol winner. They say the original is always the best, right?
