Here’s your first look at promotional posters for Britney Spears‘ upcoming world “Circus” tour, promoting her April 3rd concert, a month after its March 3rd concert in New Orleans.

It isn’t ready yet. I know, I know. Can’t they at least give us the soundtrack ASAP to hold us over while New Moon is being filmed? We are already going nuts waiting for Twilight to come out on DVD!!
The songs for New Moon haven’t been nailed down yet the flick is still in preproduction.
First, some background. When it comes to Twilight’s soundtrack, you may credit legendary music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas, who has also curated the music for TV shows The OC, Roswell, Chuck, Mad Men and Without a Trace. Patsavas is also on board to supervise the sound for New Moon. Now the gossip…
The new director, Chris Weitz, has been sending out signals that he may be open to a more experimental soundtrack than his predecessor. That could mean songs that sparkle even more than the movie’s vampires when they get caught in the sun.
“I think that might be the way it’s going,” says Marisa Baldi, West Coast partner for Zync, a music brokerage that funneled two songs onto the Twilight soundtrack. “I get the vibe that the guy is a little more into being surprised…everything is really open, and he wants to hear a lot of cool music.”
The process for choosing the final music list works like any movie. First, bands or their managers approach a music brokerage, such as Zync. Zync then works to place songs in films, film trailers or commercials.
In the case of a feature film, the brokerage chats with a film’s music supervisor, gets a feel for the film and then sends out compilations of suggested tracks. The Twilight song “Full Moon” by the Black Ghosts was a hit with Patsavas right away.
“It was on the very first compilation I sent her for the film,” Baldi recalls.
As for Patsavas, I interviewed her awhile ago about her search process. “We sort of put in one CD at a time,” Patsavas explained to me at the time. “Maybe we don’t play a CD all the way through, but we do give everything a try.”
I am sure they will get a soundtrack for New Moon together soon and we will all have it on repeat until the movie hits theaters! We will keep you posted, I promise!

The festival itself has of course denied the rumors, but more than the fact that a promotional poster for the annual Coachella music festival circulated (as they seem to do every year), it’s amazing to look at how many news sources believed the rumor that David Bowie would be performing his Ziggy Stardust material at the gathering.
Rest assured however, the lineup is not final, and Bowie is not performing.

Britney Spears is continuing to show off her slamming new body on her website. But really do we blame her? She has come so far from a year ago! And with all that hard work I would be showing off too. Britney starts her Circus tour on March 3 kicking it off in New Orleans.
I have to say that by the practice she is putting into it, it will be a great show. I know they have opened another concert date where I live so people can go see her. I won’t be able to go but it would be neat to see it none the less.

The Hills most annoying couple- Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt- hit the town last night and obviously had a little too much fun. The super-fake blonde drunk and her hedgehog-looking boyfriend/fiance/husband checked out Area nightclub with a large bodyguard in tow. As they left, Heidi was shouting, slurring, tripping, looking completely toasted for all the paparazzi that she loves for making her “famous”.
And what’s up with the Jackie-O styled top half of her outfit? I mean, I am all about modesty, but geesh, woman.

After Donny Osmond all but shouted from the rooftops that he will be on the spring season of Dancing with the Stars, he has now amended his statements.
“I’m definitely not doing this upcoming season,” Osmond told Entertainment Tonight in a Wednesday report. “If there was an offer on the table, I’d do it in the fall. I would make room for it. Absolutely!”
I guess we will just have to wait and see when the season cast is announced in February.

Kate Hudson is the March 2009 cover girl for UK InStyle magazine. Inside the issue they snagged and exclusive interview with Kate and friend Stella McCartney. She talks with the magazine about girls, underwear and being single. Here are the highlights from the interview.
On girls being mean to each other: Most of us have been in a situation where women are very threatened by other women. Ive been in situations where just being happy was a threat to others. But Im not like that. I was raised to root for other people. And I think we need that
On being a single mom: Being a single parent can be difficult, but I dont feel I am one. Chris and I are co-parenting and traveling is where it gets difficult. Chris [Robinson] is on the road and Ive had a busy last year, so I am going to take a break in 2009. I want to soak in every little part of who Ryder is.
On being single: “Im enjoying being single because I really never have beenI feel good in relationships. I enjoy them, so I feel my best when Im in something solid. But its the first time Ive taken a step back and gotten a new perspective. Ive made a conscious decision to try to stay single as long as possible.
Kate on her own style: “Sometimes I feel a bit schizophrenic, like I have no idea! When Im going somewhere and Im tired and not thinking about it at all, what I end up wearing is what I would say my style is. I like things that are comfortable and flowy and lots of jewelery”
Kate on underwear: I discovered these great undergarments I cant live without called Nearly Nude…Theyre so great. And you can wear them under any dress; theyre really thin. Also, Wolford makes a kind of slip that holds you in. Its a little expensive, but women should invest in that! I dont go anywhere without Calvin Klein strapless bras, and since I wear a lot of short skirts, I always havemy little boy-shorts to wear under the minis.

Due to the need for better security to go with their heightening celebrity status, Lo Bosworth and Lauren Conrad are moving out of their The Hills Hollywood home. They are reportedly moving into a building with a doorman in the Westwood area.
The neighbors are sure to be excited. Many of them filed petitions and complaints against the excessive amount of production crews, paparazzi and fans gawking all the time. However, FilmLA, which coordinates filming in Los Angeles, found the show in be in compliance with its permit restrictions –which include requirements that the show not park production vehicles on the street and shuttle all crew members to the house.

Cyndi Lauper hasn’t exactly faded to the background in the more-twilight years of her career, and proving she’s still every bit the quirky, trend-cutting diva that made her career in the early 80′s, she’s back with director Karl Grant for “Girls Just Want to Set Your Heart” a mash-up between (obviously) her most famous hit “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and her new single “Set Your Heart”.
