The next entry in the Spider-Man series will shoot (at least partly) in the state of Michigan.

According to�The Oakland Press, Michigan native�Sam Raimi�hopes to film scenes forSpider-Man 4�in his home state, which offers filmmakers tax incentives to bring productions there. “Raimi is slated to begin production on�Spider-Man 4�in 2010, in fact and, he said, envisions shooting some of that movie in Michigan,” the paper reports.�

As Raimi told�The Oakland Press, “I’ll be looking at Michigan for our second-unit photography on the new�Spider-Man�film.”�

Since Raimi will be at home, maybe he’ll find a little more inspiration than he had for Spider-Man 3.
