On Feb. 12th,� Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy will have a super cool 2-part crossover in back to back episodes.

TV Guide The Magazine got the inside scoop and some juicy details for this dynamic duo:

SPOILERS!

- Derek is called to save the life of Addison’s brother Archer Montgomery [Grant Show] whose brain is squirming with worms, literally.

- Don’t expect old sparks to fly between Sloan and Addison: “I’m with Lexie [Chyler Leigh] now, even though she broke my penis�” says Eric Dane of his character, Sloan.

- Derek “questions his ability and starts going into a dark abyss of insecurity,” says Patrick Dempsey of his character; Addison steps in to try to help Derek through his professional anxiety

- In one scene, Sam and Naomi [played by accomplished Broadway belters Taye Diggs and Audra McDonald, respectively], along with Addison and Sloan, serenade Derek at Joe’s Emerald City bar.

Ellen Pompeo

- On the worm surgery: “Apparently this actually happens. You can ingest these parasitic worms in uncooked food, so now I’m afraid to eat sushi.”

Grant Show

- On the crossover: “My whole job consists of me lying in bed. Mostly my eyes aren’t even open. I fell asleep the other day in the middle of a scene and started snoring.”

- On his character, Archer: “I think I’ve slept with more women on Private Practice in five or six episodes than [I did on] Melrose Place.”

Patrick Dempsey

- On the Shepherd/Grey wedding date: “The question is how to pop the question, I don’t know the answer to that, but I assume by the end of the season, I’m going to put a ring on it.”

Plus � creator Shonda Rhimes reveals the romance ahead for her Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice docs: “Yes there will be a wedding � a beautiful, joyous wedding that will surprise you. Remember that I didn’t say whose wedding it will be�”
