Clay Aiken to Guest Judge on ‘America’s Next Top Model’

What does an ex-American Idol finalist know about an acting challenge during a modeling competition? My guess is probably not much, but that didn’t stop America’s Next Top Model producers from getting Clay Aiken on board!
The American Idol second-season runner-up will serves as a guest judge for an America’s Next Top Model twelfth-season episode scheduled to air in April, Entertainment Weekly reported Wednesday. In addition, Aiken will also “participate in an acting challenge” during the episode, according to EW.
While it might seem odd they chose Aiken for an acting challenge instead of singing, he does have “theatrical experience.”
He originally played the role of Sir Robin in Monty Python’s Spamalot at the Shubert Theatre early last year before taking a break from the production to promote his fourth album “On My Way Here,” which was released in May. He subsequently reprised his role in the fall and continued in it until last month.
I don’t know about you, but I am pretty ready for weirdo Clay Aiken’s fifteen minutes to be up!
