Salma Hayek Is Gorgeous For One Pack = One Vaccine
Salma Hayek helped launch year two of UNICEF’s One Pack = One Vaccine campaign at a press conference in New York earlier this week.
The program is a collaboration between UNICEF and Pampers. Each pack of specially marked Pampers diapers and wipes purchased in the U.S. or Canada through May 1st will lead to a donation of one tetanus vaccine to help UNICEF protect a pregnant woman in the developing world against the disease.
The campaign has already helped raise funds for 45 million tetanus vaccines. This year’s goal is at least 30 million.
Caryl Stern, president and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, said:
“We are grateful that Pampers has chosen to partner with us again and are thankful for the efforts of Salma Hayek and her dedication to this important cause.”
