I remember watching the original 90210 and seeing all the up and coming bands and sometimes mega stars play at “The Peach Pit After Dark“.� All the acts got huge.� It was great!

Well, The Veronicas are going to be the guest musical act on the new 90210:

“We’re appearing in the season final – we get to do two songs – which is kind of a big deal,” said Jess, who has returned to Australia with her twin sister after their single Untouched reached the top 20 of the US Billboard charts last week.

The Veronicas are the first Australian act to achieve that feat since Kylie Minogue with Can’t Get You Out of My Head in 2002.

“It was definitely a building process,” Jess said.

The duo are rehearsing ahead of a tour that includes two shows in Sydney, plus concerts in Newcastle and Wollongong.

“It’s just going to be a really, really fun time,” Jess said.

She played down reports she had already agreed to pose nude for animal rights campaigners PETA, but said she would consider an offer if she received one.

The Veronicas, meanwhile, have lent their name to this year’s Earth Hour campaign.

I am looking forward to this episode.� The Veronicas will make it worth watching for sure!
