Michael Phelps will not be charged with any crime related to the photo of the Olympic swimmer hitting a bong.

Richland County (South Carolina) Sheriff Leon Lott announced today that there will be no charges filed against the 14-time gold medalist.

The photo was taken at a University of South Carolina party attended by Phelps in November.�� Phelps has apologized for the incident, saying that his behavior was “regrettable” and that he “demonstrated bad judgment.”

Gotta love celebrities’ ability to dodge the law…
