As we already know, Nicolette Sheridan’s days are numbered on Desperate Housewives.� The show seems to be wanting something new and in order for that to happen, they have to throw out the “old”.

As production begins on the episodes that will spell the end of Nicolette Sheridan’s time on Desperate Housewives, the man responsible for creating her character is speaking out exclusively to TV Guide Magazine about why she’s leaving.

Says <>Housewives creator/executive producer Marc Cherry: “Nicollette Sheridan has immortalized Edie Britt from the first moment she stepped foot on Wisteria Lane as the deliciously seductive and strong neighbor. The creative decision to place this character in a perilous storyline was driven by the need to continue to keep the drama fresh. It has been our great pleasure to work with Nicollette � we are all going to miss her very much.�

I think she will� be missed but, I am anxious to see what/who will fill her absence.� Stay tuned to BSC…..
