Lily Allen took a chance with her sophomore album It’s Not Me, It’s You (after rising to a position of critical with 2007′s Alright, Still) and it appears to have paid off.

Her new album has officially debuted at #1 on the UK album charts (while falling a bit short at #5 on the US charts – albeit still selling 70,000 copies – double the initial amount sold of Alright, Still), but surprisingly ranked at #1 on the iTunes US Top Albums chart!

Have you heard the album yet? I just picked up my copy this afternoon after having streamed it online last month.
