Penelope Cruz Wins Best Supporting Actress At The Oscars
Penelope Cruz looks excited while she kisses her Best Supporting Actress Oscar that she won for her role in the movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I loved the role that she had in the movie, it was the only Oscar nominated movie I did see. Playing a psychotic ex-lover would have it’s challenges especially since it was in the same movie as such other good looking people like Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem. (Did you notice that they drank wine alot in that movie?)

I was so excited to see that Penelope Cruz won Best Supporting Actress, she is wonderful. I was also impressed to see that the awards were taken by international artists this year. Kate Winslet winning Best Actress and Heath Ledger winning Best Supporting Actor. And then the massive sweep of Slumdog Millionaire! I saw a video at newsy.com that said that Fox Searchlight was behind the movie…isn’t that the same production company that brought us Juno? Another one for the books. Keep them coming Fox Searchlight!
