Penelope Cruz was so excited when she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress on Sunday night. We all know that she played a great psychotic ex-girlfriend in the movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Sometimes you forget that these stars live for this moment (expected or not) and celebrate. Reports are that Penelope was so excited that she took her Oscar home and slept with it that night!

“When they gave it to me I could not stop crying for 20 minutes. I could not look at it – is it for real, or one of those things my friends gave me or something? This morning I woke up with the same feeling. But I had put the Oscar in my bed, on the other pillow, I looked – and it was there!”

How cute is that? I know that I would probably take a bath with it, sit at the desk with it, never let it out of my sight. I know my acceptance speech would suck though. I would be so nervous that I wouldn’t be able to talk.
