I have to admit, I’m pretty impressed, the sheer scale of this movie looks massive. I’m looking forward to this more now.

Erin and Whitney discuss Duncan coming in town now that she’s hanging out with JR again.
At the DVF office it’s time for the Christmas party and Olivia is her usual annoying, aggressive self. When Olivia tells her to not get drunk that night “and like fall on your face”, Whitney tells her “Great tip, Olivia! I learn something new from you everyday.” Ouch!
Sunken faced Allie talks with Adam about how Jay is unhappy with her living with them. She tells him they need space, but he loves waking up next to her everyday and doesn’t want her to go anywhere. Sweet!
JR shows up at the holiday party where Erin and Duncan are making out. The two boys meet and it’s very awkward, so Duncan pulls her away to tell her that it’s not ok for her to be hanging out with JR. She tells him that part of her will always love JR, and he tells her to put that part of her behind her.
Olivia wakes her bum-tastic cousin Nevan and tells him to find a job. When she leaves, he goes back to sleep.
At Adam’s work, he and Jay talk about “the living situation.” He tells him that he wants Allie to live with him, and Jay goes off on him that they fight all the time and he can’t believe he’s kicking out his “best mate” for her.
At Erin’s apartment, hairy caveman Duncan talks with her about JR showing up at the party. She tells him that she’s confused because every time he’s in town she falls more in love with him, but that he can trust her. He’s worried about being part of a love triangle. She tells him she needs time to think about it, and he rolls out.
Olivia presents Nevan with a list of apartments and gives him a guilt trip about not looking for a job. She’s very condescending. Shocker!
At Whitney’s apartment, she and Erin get ready for New Year’s Eve and celebrate Erin’s single status. At the party, Jay shows up in a glitter vest, bowtie and top hat. He tells Whitney about Adam’s plans for Allie to move in and him to move out- then he asks if he could stay with her until he finds a new place. Geesh, things are moving fast, eh? The New Year is brought in with a major kiss, and Erin is left feeling alone and in tears. She wants Duncan to call her and Jay comforts her. Whitney tells Jay he is always welcome and they both share how happy they are to be with each other. Erin calls Duncan and leaves a drunk voicemail.
The next morning, a hungover Jay tells Whitney that in 2009 he wants to party less and focus on music more. Then he makes mention of him staying with her and her looking after him, making him dinner and tea. Um, ok?

After a 10 minute montage of Jason’s thoughts on all the women, we finally got to see some good stuff. Jason met up with Jillian in New Zealand on a helicopter and they were pretty much in matching outfits which was kinda weird. They landed on a ledge overlooking a beautiful landscape and had a picnic. Jason described Jillian as fun, gorgeous, exciting, and adventurous. She said he was the first person she had been so attracted to, connected with and had such a strong friendship with all at once. Jason revealed to the camera that he needed more than a best friend, and he needed to feel a passionate, fiery romance about Jill.
Later on they visited a winery and Jillian shared that she was ok to be away from her family when she was with Jason, and that she gets butterflies. She told him that she never felt anyone was more right for her than Jason is… wow. Then she came out and asked for the invitation to the fantasy suite- bold girl, that Jillian. “I knew if we spent the night together, it would be a long night. And I needed him to be ready for that.” Grrrrrr, tigress!!! Hot tub time- lots of kissing and rubbing- watching it made me pretty uncomfortable. I think he found the fire.
Next up was Molly’s date and Jason was really excited. He brought her to the Kawarau Bridge for bungee jumping (in the city it was invented). Then they sat down for some food and Molly whipped out a list of questions that was like 10 miles long. They were riveting questions like his favorite food, ice cream, place in the world, holiday, car, body part, possession, etc.
Molly is the queen of the side ponytail action, and she worked it at dinner. Jason told the camera he needed to get some serious stuff out of Molly and how he felt he had to pull so much out of her already. Jason told her that he noticed that her mom and dad and sister and her husband sat apart from each other and that he and Molly were closer together than anyone. Molly said that she comes from a non mushy gushy family, but that she loves to kiss Jason and be with him and wishes she could be all the time. Molly began to cry and told him that she was falling in love with him. They both said that moment was a huge break through… then she brought out the question card and asked him to stay the night with her. Way to be proactive, lady!! Then they made out on the bed and got in a bubble bath together (in swimsuits).
Finally it was Melissa’s turn and Jason brought Melissa on Winston Churchill’s old boat. She told Jason that she was scared and reality was setting in that she could get dumped again, but that he was worth the risk. They got into their swimsuits and got into a “hot pool” overlooking some beautiful scenery. Melissa revealed that she hasn’t talked to her parents since they wouldn’t meet Jason, and how she wanted them to see how happy he makes her. Jason said that there was nothing her parents could do or say to make him feel differently about Melissa, but that he was still disappointed he hadn’t gotten to meet them and was worried he could fall in love only so far.
They went for a walk on the docks and then on to a beautiful private room. Melissa talked about her close relationship with her brother, and then divulged about her feelings of being scared. She asked him if it was a big deal that he didn’t get to meet her parents- he said he got to meet everyone else’s families, but he also got to see her real world and her friends- something he didn’t do with anyone else. Then came the fantasy suite invitation and off they went. Melissa told Jason she had never felt like this, and that she was head over heels in love with him. By his reaction, I totally cannot see him sending her home any time soon. These two have a crazy connection. He even said that any doubts her had about her were gone.
It was finally time for the rose ceremony, so Chris Harrison sat down Jason for the run-down. Then he got to see a personal video message from each girl. He started crying as he got ready to let one of them go, and then it was time. Chris revealed that the two chosen girls would stay in New Zealand to meet Ty and the rest of Jason’s family. Jason started talking and immediately got choked up. First to get a rose was Melissa…. Then, Molly got one.
Jillian was obviously upset as he walked her to her car. Despite all the mugging down in the hot tub, the Canadian got the boot. Jason revealed that their lives were just too different, and she adamently disagreed. He said that her marrying her best friend would be nice, but he just felt maybe all they would be was best friends. They talked about a dream she had about Ty and them being a family, and how she was completely in love with him. Jason cried a lot as she left and tried to compose himself before going back to Molly and Melissa.

Keith Urban surprised fans at the Daytona 500 this weekend when he performed right before the race. (Also at the race were Tom Cruise and stepson, Connor!) He also gave the reporters a treat by performing for them too. Keith also answered questions for the media, one of the questions made him quite uncomfortable…what was his favorite racing movie. (He was at the track that his wife’s movie Days Of Thunder was filmed.) He answered it by saying…
“Uh, well, I think ‘Cars’ is my favorite.”
That’s Keith cool under pressure! Those fans were lucky to see him…I’m so jealous!

This news almost seems to good to be true. Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere have broken up US Weekly is reporting.
“It was a lifestyle conflict. They were in very different places.” Adds the insider, “They are still on friendly terms. There are no hard feelings.”
The source goes on to say that Hayden wants to go out partying all the time, and that’s just not Milo’s thing. And Milo is working on his production company (Divide Pictures) and is working more on that.
I love the both of them, okay Milo a bit more, and sometimes things don’t work out. I’m going to do a happy dance now.

Lindsay Lohan looks really thin in this picture. It’s really scary really. But Lindsay insists that ‘it’s not intentional.’
“I eat. I had my Big Mac yesterday from McDonald’s. I eat just as much as I always have.”
If I ate a Big Mac I still wouldn’t look that skinny. But Lindsay also says that stress, ‘working a lot’, and not sleeping good might have something to do with it too.
“I think it’s all that stuff that adds up.”
Lindsay admits that she has never weighed herself , and now she doesn’t think about the pressure to stay thin in Hollywood anymore.
“They’ve already said everything about me that they can say. And I’ve never really cared then,” she said. “I’m my own person, and people can say whatever they want. I’m still going to be the person that I am…Everyone goes through something, and everyone can relate to something. I think that I don’t ever want to pretend to be something that I’m not. I’m not perfect; nobody is perfect. If you try to be perfect, you’ll probably go crazy. But you should always accept yourself for who you are. And that’s what I’ve done, and I’m happy.”
I still think she is so tiny. I know if she had more weight to her she would look healthier. But I guess if you are happy with yourself that’s okay too.

Michael Phelps will not be charged with any crime related to the photo of the Olympic swimmer hitting a bong.
Richland County (South Carolina) Sheriff Leon Lott announced today that there will be no charges filed against the 14-time gold medalist.
The photo was taken at a University of South Carolina party attended by Phelps in November. Phelps has apologized for the incident, saying that his behavior was “regrettable” and that he “demonstrated bad judgment.”
Gotta love celebrities’ ability to dodge the law…

Heidi Klum was at the arrivals of the Diane von Furstenberg fashion week show yesterday in New York. I love that jacket that Heidi is wearing. It seems that New York is just so busy with all the fashion week shows going on.
Recently Heidi was told by a German fashion designer that she was too fat to deserve her supermodel status. Wolfgang Joop said that Heidi wasn’t a runway model.
“She is simply too heavy and has too big a bust,” he said. “And she always grins so stupidly. That is not avant-garde – that is commercial!”
And then he goes on to say that he doesn’t even know her…
“I don’t know Heidi Klum. She was never known in France. Claudia Schiffer also doesn’t know who she is…”
Claudia Schiffer doesn’t know who she is…really? I find that the hardest thing to believe. I think that Heidi is perfect…for a mother of three kids she looks like she is supposed to. It’s true what Kelly Cutrone said on The City a couple of weeks ago…everyone has such a unrealistic view on what’s skinny (did I just say something nice about Kelly?). Heidi is perfect…
