MAD Magazine provided us with an Exclusive look at the Watchmen-parody cover to issue #499, which hits stands on Tuesday, February 24th 2009. The cover features MAD mascot Alfred E. Neuman dressed as Rorschach.
This magazine only pokes fun at success, they know this movie is going to do well.

Goth pioneers Nine Inch Nails have come along way from rehearsing and recording in the vacant Hollywood home where actress Sharon Tate was murdered in 1969. Front man Trent Reznor blogged today about sharing rehearsal space with Britney Spears (in all fairness – not the same room, simply the same building).
“I can hear the thumping low end of Britney Spears. It’s been a treat having them here the whole time we’ve been here.”
Sarcasm? Probably – but it’s evidently way over Brit manager Adam Leber‘s head if it is. He responded (on Spears’ official site):
“Brit has been sharing the same rehearsal space with NIN for the past few weeks and they are getting along famously. Maybe we should ask Trent Reznor to remix Circus?”

It’s no mystery that Christina Aguilera is one POWERFUL singer; but for her upcoming album, she’s been striving for a much-softer sound, teaming up with one of her favorite bands – Ladytron.
Ladytron founder, Daniel Hunt, said: “She’s an absolutely amazing singer but one of the things she talked about was working with a softer vocal sound, so I think the stuff we do will feature simpler melodies.”
The 28-year-old singer hired the band to help her achieve her new sound after she fell in love with the British quartet’s music. Daniel, 29, said: “We first heard that we were one of Christina’s favorite bands last summer. We were thrilled. So we went over to Los Angeles to meet her in December where she identified the type of Ladytron songs that she liked. We were impressed because she had a real deep knowledge of our music – album tracks, not just the singles.”
The band plans on finishing off some more tracks for Aguilera’s still-untitled new release this March, relatively fresh on the heels of her Greatest Hits Target-exclusive album.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been moved up two days.
Paramount Pictures has moved up the release date for director Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in conventional and IMAX theaters two days to June 24th.
I could have waited, but I guess I’m happy.

Fox is a part of an exclusive marketing campaign that will show off 3 full minutes from the upcoming film X-Men Origins: Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman.
For this unprecedented promotional event – which is too big for one night – the studio has created three special 60-second spots that will air over the course of three nights on Fox. Together, with one spot leading into the next, the spots will form a narrative revealing the origins of Wolverine, and the epic revolution that pits him and other legends of the X-Men universe against powerful forces determined to eliminate them.
This, in my opinion, is not a good sign for the quality of the movie. Showing that much footage before it comes out is like begging people to see it. I’m still holding on to a glimmer of hope that it will still be good.

Hayden Panettiere put on the cutest flapper dress for the the celebration of the 2009 Victoria’s Secret “What is Sexy?” List at The Bowery Hotel on Wednesday in New York City. I love her curly hair and her black dress, I wish she would dress this cute more often. (I am a fan of hers!) Kate Hudson is pretty kinky, and I have to say that I didn’t even see this one coming. I’m sure because Kate has a lot of boyfriends she must know about these things and likes to have fun. A friend blabbed to a source that Kate added a dance pole to her bathroom.
“She’s so proud of it. She was laughing and giddy like a kid when the thing was installed! She holds on with both her arms and flips her legs into the air. It’s kind of amazing and totally sexy.”
Now what I would like to know is how this friend knows so much about what she does on this pole…okay…I take that back I don’t want to know.

John Malkovich has signed on to play a part in the new film Hex starring Josh Brolin.
Malkovich will play Turnbull, a wealthy Southern plantation owner whose son is killed by Union soldiers during the Civil War. He blames Hex, a former confederate soldier-turned-hardened bounty hunter and gunslinger. Jimmy Hayward (“Horton Hears a Who”) is directing the script by ”Crank” scribes Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Mad Chance’s Andrew Lazar is producing with Weed Road’s Akiva Goldsman.
This is going to be an cool movie.
