Rumors spread like wildfire about M.I.A.’s new baby and his very unusual name, Ickett. ‘Latina‘ magazine was the culprit in beginning this odd name choice.  I must admit I thought it was a little “off”.

But, thankfully the rumors are only rumors.  In fact, M.I.A. hasn’t even revealed her son’s name at all.

“My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit or Lickit thank you very much to all the Hollywood press. Hes a baby, he don’t need press!”

“I didnt release the baby name because I didnt think it was news!!!!” she continued. “But I will be back with something news worthy soon, till then go pick on Apple, Satchel and Moon Unit.”

Well, now that she has stopped these rumors via her MySpace page, we can all wait with baited breath to see what her son’s true name is. LOL
